Fierce Love: The Book
Dr. Sarah Warren’s book, Fierce Love: How One Mother Reinvented Herself by Saving the Planet rolls out chapter by chapter. The complete book will be available soon.
Fierce Love is a story of transformation– both personal and social. It shares Dr. Sarah Warren’s personal transformation as a psychologist and a mother as she joined the growing movement of “unlikely environmentalists.” Fierce Love captures the personal rewards she has reaped– and the challenges she has faced– in becoming a new environmentalist. This is a “go green, go happy” story.
It is also a love story because Dr. Sarah’s work to use her professional expertise to save the planet is inspired by her intense love for her two young boys. At the same time, her passionate motivation is balanced by reason.
Fierce Love chronicles Dr. Sarah’s transformation from casual recycler to “unlikely environmentalist” to ” new eco warrior.” The book also offers a psychological perspective on how people change as they become engaged in a cause such as protecting the planet. Fierce Love also describes what global warming means in our day-to-day lives, and highlights signs of hope and progress. The book concludes with actions you can take to use your spheres of influence– however big or small– to combat global warming– and make a difference.
Dr. Sarah invites you into her world.

Dr. Warren’s writing is informative and accessible and as important as anything you will read. She carries you into the world of activism on the personal scale in a way that helps you over the hurdle of being overwhelmed by the problems we are facing today in the world’s ecology. Her backgrounds in psychology, coaching and parenting make her work reach us all and inform us all. Thanks, Sarah!
